DevLab brings together students, engineers and entrepreneurs to build innovative products that solve real world problems.
About
Dev•Lab
proper noun
An event, lasting 48 hours, during which students collaborate to engineer a product addressing an issue set out in the sustainable development goals. Teams of three spend the two days brainstorming a solution, developing a business plan and producing a prototype. On the last evening they present their work and are judged on its potential impact, economic feasibility and sustainability. Participants do not need to have any previous technological know-how or experience.
DevLab offers an immense and valuable opportunity where students benefit from mentorship and workshops delivered by experienced entrepreneurs, policy makers, and engineers, whilst getting hands on experience tackling real problems.
